In this Women's Health Yoga Training, each module offers a transformative and integrated approach to learning. Through experiential embodied practice, reflection, and sharing, participants embark on a profound journey of self-discovery and growth.

The Foundations module sets the groundwork for understanding the key principles of women's health in yoga. In Seasons & Cycles of Connection, we explore the intricate relationship between women's well-being and the natural rhythms of life. Energetics, Embodiment & Somatics delves into the energetic aspects of yoga, fostering a deeper connection between mind, body, and spirit. Lastly, our Yoga Therapy module takes a trauma-informed holistic approach, empowering participants to facilitate meaningful change for themselves and those they support.

Training modules

Each area offers an integrated approach to learning through experiential embodied practice, reflection & sharing. In our Seasons & Cycles of Connect choose your preferred area of study - (Menstrual Cycle), (Fertility, Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum), (Perimenopause & Menopause). Scroll for details.

  • Laying the foundations and understanding of the unique and individual needs of women.

    Here we explore theory, models of care & frameworks of women's health.

  • Connecting spirit and consciousness with the physical shifts and changes women experience throughout their life cycle.

    Choose from the following areas of focus. Here you have the option to select 1, 2 or 3 dependent on your area of interest.

  • Experiential exploration beyond the asana. Here we traverse the diverse aspects of practice through embodiment & self contemplative models.

  • A trauma informed, holistic approach to facilitating change.

    Understanding and consideration of trauma informed practice and facilitation to support and improve whole body health outcomes of women.

Season & Cycles of Connection

In our Seasons & Cycles of Connect choose your preferred area of study - (Menstrual Cycle), (Fertility, Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum), (Perimenopause & Menopause).

  • An in depth exploration of the Menstrual Cycle including:

    (1) Women’s hormones as they relate to the cycle

    (2) The fours phases of the cycle

    (3) Common menstrual health conditions & therapeutic application of the yoga teachings

    (4) The menstrual cycle through the 5 bodies of experience - physical, emotional, mind, nervous system & spirit

  • An in depth exploration of fertility, pregnancy, birth & postpartum.

    (1) The journey from fertility to postpartum - changes to a woman’s body

    (2) Rites of passage - exploring each transition through the 5 bodies of experience: physical, emotional, mind, nervous system & spirit

    (3) Common conditions in each & therapeutic application of the yoga teachings

  • An in depth exploration of perimenopause as a women transitions through menopause and beyond.

    (1) The biology of perimenopause - the shifts & changes in a woman’s hormones

    (2) Perimenopause through the 5 bodies of experience: physical, emotional, mind, nervous system & spirit

    (3) Common conditions & therapeutic application of the yoga teachings

Training outcomes

  • Integrate the teachings into an existing modality

  • Work 1:1 with women in a therapeutic setting

  • Work with small therapeutic groups of women who share a common need

  • Gain a greater understanding of the needs of women and the therapeutic application of yoga teachings and practice

Who is this training for?

  • This training is open to health & wellness practitioners, yoga teachers and yoga therapists and anyone with an interest in working with women.

  • This training is unique in that it is designed as an immersive experience, navigating the material in an exploratory way.

Who is this training not for?

This training may not be right for you if...

You do not currently hold a qualification in an existing modality as it does not qualify you as a yoga teacher or therapist. This training is designed as professional development for health practitioners and advanced training for existing yoga teachers / yoga therapists. Should you wish to become a yoga teacher you are required to complete a minimum of 200HR teaching certificate.

Prerequisites

  • An existing modality (or currently studying one) that you can integrate these teachings into.

  • A willingness to dedicate the time and energy to complete the full training to the best of your ability.

  • An open heart & commitment to participating and reflecting on your experience in connection with the other students in the training.

Attendance & Certification

As all of our training is immersive and explorative, we require 50% live attendance and the completion of all course work to receive certification. If you are unable to join a session live you may access the recording via our online portal.

This course is registered with Yoga Alliance for CPD.

  • Seasons & Cycles of Change Modules - additional modules $199 AUD.

 FAQs

  • In the Seasons & Cycles of Connection module you have the choice to complete 1, 2 or all of the modules depending on your area of interest. All other modules are compulsory.

  • You will need to be able to set aside 1 – 2 hours of study per week. This takes into account personal practice, reading and reflective journaling.

    This is in addition to the hours required for live calls.

  • Yes. All of our live calls are recorded and replays made available inside of our online portal for you to access.

  • Yes. You will be able to download the recordings via the online portal.

  • You will have access to the course material via the online portal for 6-months (this includes the time of the course). Prior to the end of this 6-months you will be able to download what you want from the portal before your access ends.

  • Yes. We have a 3-month payment plan available. Please see details above under pricing & payment.

  • No. This training does not qualify you as a yoga teacher or therapist. This training is designed as professional development for health practitioners and advanced training for existing yoga teachers / yoga therapists. Should you wish to become a yoga teacher you are required to complete a minimum of 200HR teaching certificate.

  • Yes. This course is accredited with Yoga Alliance for ongoing CPD.
